Keeping you safe – information on coronavirus

Our top priority is keeping the people we support, their families and our staff safe and well.

To do this we are following guidance from the UK Government and our staff have been equipped with face masks to wear when caring for patients exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. Please note that unless a patient is exhibiting symptoms Public Health England and the UK Government are advising healthcare staff not to wear facemasks and, at St Christopher’s, we are also following this advice. Staff will still wear some form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves and aprons during all visits.

We will call you on a weekly basis to assess whether you are experiencing symptoms. If you start experiencing symptoms in between these calls or before you are due a visit, please let us know by calling 020 8768 4648.

Please also remember to follow government advice around social distancing with anyone who does not live in the same household as you.

These measures are important for the safety of our staff and the wider community so thank you for your co-operation.
