Are you ready to make a real difference?
For nearly 50 years, St Christopher’s has provided the highest quality care to dying individuals in South East London. As part of our new personal care service, you will help keep people out of hospital and in their own home by assisting with bathing, showering, preparing meals and their medication.
No experience in care required – our Care Workers come from all walks of life; florists, hairdressers, school dinner ladies, printers, supermarket assistants, bus drivers and more! What they have in common is a kind heart and commitment to helping others; if that sounds like you, we can teach you the rest. You’ll gain a nationally recognised qualification, ongoing support and training and the satisfaction of rewarding work.
The difference you can make
The care you will provide as part of our team has a huge impact on people at a difficult time in their lives. This is just a small sample of the feedback we receive on a regular basis;
“My family and I would like to thank you all for the help we received in connection with our Dad. The service that we received was second to none. On behalf of us all, thank you.”
“Nobody could have wished for more. The attention and care was beyond all expectations. We all thank you so much for what you do.”
“Every carer that stepped over my door was caring, compassionate, sensitive and very supportive to all members of the family. Truly amazing people and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you did for Mum.”
“The quality of selection and training of the care givers was excellent. They always greeted and spoke to my mother with respect and compassion even when hours before her death. The regular arrival of two excellent carers, three times a day was a great relief to us as a family as we looked after her in the last week of her life. It enabled her to have the physically comfortable, peaceful death in her own home that she and the family wanted. An excellent service. Thank you very much.”
“No group of carers could have provided a more professional, friendly, caring service, plus a great feeling of general concern always with great sense of humour. There was almost always laughter and chatter coming from the bathroom and bedroom. Also the back office support was friendly and efficient and gave me much positive support.”
“I cannot praise highly enough the personal care received by my Mother from your team. She, together with myself, was treated with respect, kindness and professionalism at all times. The care was consistently excellent, delivered by a highly trained team of lovely people.”
