Care at home

"The carers are amazing and very thoughtful and help me with the care I need"

Whether it’s help to get the day started or settled at night, we can assist with showering, dressing, meals and other everyday tasks.

Most of our care workers are trained to assist with giving medication too. If you’re a carer, we can give you time for a well-earned break and peace of mind when you can’t be there.

We can provide visits between 6.30am – 10.30pm 7 days per week. Most visits we provide are between 30 minutes and one hour but we are happy to arrange longer visits to meet your needs.

You don’t have to be eligible for hospice care to use our specialist services. If you have an illness or disability, or you simply require help to do the everyday things that most people take for granted, you can make the most of the high-quality care we have to offer.

If you have any questions or would like us to visit you at home, please give us a call. Whether you only need us occasionally in the week or many times every day, we’re here to help.

Common questions

Q

Do you provide 15 minute visits?

A

We do, but on a limited basis. We would only tend to offer this as an extra visit in the day, such as a visit to assist with medication.

Q

How quickly can you start providing care?

A

We can start very quickly, usually within a day or two after the home visit to discuss your needs. This does of course depend on the availability of our staff and being able to meet your preferred times.

Q

Can I have someone with me when you to help discuss my needs?

A

Absolutely, in fact we recommend it. Family, close friends or your carer are welcome to be part of planning your care.

Q

Do you provide nursing care?

A

We don’t provide nursing care, although our team is run by experienced Registered General Nurses.
